In January 2004 Rosenberg Deposition
Services, LLC (RDS) was formed to provide outstanding Court Reporting
and Legal Videography Services to the Chicagoland legal community under
the recognized name of Fred R. Rosenberg. Unique to RDS's reporting arm
and in response to the growing document management needs of our clients,
RDS has incorporated a Document Management and Videoconferencing Services
capability to enhance the breadth of our services. In addition we have
broadened the scope of our service offerings to include our Subpoena Duces
Tecum program
It is the strong belief of Mr. Rosenberg that the combined background,
education and experience of the RDS Staff provide the foundation upon
which the company will thrive in the marketplace. We will bring that background,

Fred Rosenberg began his career as a General Courts Martial Reporter
in the United States Army in the early 1960s. In 1967 he formed the court
reporting firm of Fred R. Rosenberg & Associates, which later merged
and became Wolfe, Rosenberg & Associates, Inc. Mr. Rosenberg played
a significant role in the technological evolution of the court reporting
industry and was involved in the development and implementation of many
of the outstanding court reporting services that are currently offered
today.
In 1974 Mr. Rosenberg became the first Certified Court Reporter in Illinois
to utilize videotape technology to record witness testimony for presentation
at trial. He was also among the first group of Court Reporters nationwide
to pioneer the use of Computer Assisted Transcription (CAT) technology,
a development that revolutionized the Court Reporting industry. He is
proud to have reported some of the nation's largest and most significant
cases.
In just over three decades, Wolfe, Rosenberg grew to become one of the
largest and most prestigious Court Reporting agencies in the country.
In May 1997 Wolfe, Rosenberg was acquired by Esquire Deposition Services,
at which time Mr. Rosenberg assumed responsibilities as the General Manager
of the Chicago Office of Esquire for the next two and a half years. In
March 2000 he was promoted to Vice President and Regional General Manager
of the Midwest Region and managed the Information Technology Department
during the transition from in-house to outsourced management.
Mr. Rosenberg is licensed by the State of Illinois as a Certified Shorthand
Reporter. He is an active member of the National Court Reporters Association,
the Illinois Court Reporters Association and the National Verbatim Reporters
Association, and holds designations as a Registered Professional Reporter,
Registered Merit Reporter and Registered Diplomate Reporter.
